Life here in the Bristolwood is filled with its ups and downs, but the "ups" far surpass the "downs"! Living here in the Bristolwood, life is oh, so very good!!!
Hey, my name, Melissa, is Greek for honeybee! Sadly, it would take a pair of nuclear powered wings to hoist my fat butt up into the air for a Flight Of The Honeybee.
As a sidenote, regarding the picture...I was recently blessed to be able to get a Nikon D-80 DSLR camera. The picture of the Bumble was actually taken about 5' away with a telephoto lens! Having said that, last year, I had an elderly (well, in the world of electronics, anyway) Olympus camera with a micro feature on it. I was literally *touching* the Bumbles as I photographed them! They never seemed the least bit interested in me...too busy with their pollen collection! Thanks for all the gracious comments!
I live in the Bristolwood with my husband, two children, and Scottie Dogs. We have had our share of good times, bad times, and just mediocre times! But we do enjoy living here and sharing our stories!
